WQAD-TV reporting that a Rockridge High School teacher has resigned after being accused of having inappropriate communication with students. According to the report, in a statement to parents, high school principal Katy Hasson said Valerie Kline resigned on Monday. The report says Kline’s resignation came after she was “confronted with allegations of inappropriate electronic communications with students.” The matter has been reported to the Department of Children and Family Services and law enforcement has also been made aware of the situation, according to Channel 8. Kline taught English at Rockridge.
