The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department announcing that over 35-pounds of unwanted and unused prescription and over the counter drugs collected at two sites over the weekend. The Sherrard and New Boston Fire Stations partnered with the sheriff’s department for the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Drug Take Back effort. The event was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both locations Saturday.
