A Mercer County farmer serving as chairman of the Illinois Nutrient Research and Education Council or N-REC. Jeff Kirwan of New Windsor says much of his attention is focused on Illinois’ Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy.
Kirwan installed a bio-reactor on his farm last fall. He also serves on the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
