Three more methamphetamine arrests in Mercer County. This time in Matherville. Justin Weston of Sherrard, James Dugan of Kewanee and Amber Welch of Matherville were taken into custody on Sunday. Their arrests followed Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies observing suspicious activities. All three are facing possession of meth charges. In addition, Weston was cited for DUI and Dugan had an active arrest warrant from the Illinois Department of Corrections for a parole violation. All three are being held in the Mercer County Jail awaiting initial court appearances.
