Illinois Housing Development Authority tax credits remain the key piece of the puzzle for the redevelopment of the former Aledo Junior High property. Mayor Chris Hagloch says more should be known on the process later this summer.
The Northside Lofts project is estimated at $16.4 million.
A community meeting was held last February hosted by the developer, Economic Growth Corporation.
The project was originally announced in late 2021.
