Voters in the Mercer County School District turn down a referendum for improvements to Mercer County High School. The margin was 1,247 no and 1,098 yes. Here is reaction from Unit 404 Superintendent Tim Farquer.
Other referendum on the ballot Tuesday night.
Greene Township Fire District special tax proposition is approved 356 to 228.
The Keithsburg Fire Protection District wins approval 98 to 45.
And the Sherrard Library District tax rate proposition is turned down 415 to 315.
