This spring’s Mercer County School Board election will be uncontested. Four candidates have filed the necessary nominating petitions with the Mercer County Clerk’s office to be on the April 1 ballot. There are four open seats. Incumbents Don Yates, Jason Monson, and Tab Balmer are seeking re-election and newcomer Zach Frick is also on the ballot. Frick is a former Aledo City Council member.
Incumbent Julie Wagner is not seeking re-election.
