An Illinois Route 17 project through the City of Aledo included in the Illinois Department of Transportation multi-year improvement plan. The $3.5 million in work would involve 12th Avenue to East of Illinois Route 94. The project is included in IDOT’s 2025-to-2030 plan says IDOT Secretary Omer Osman.
Also included in the multi-year plan is an $8.7 million Illinois Route 17 project from U.S. 67 in Viola to U.S. Route 150 and a $4.2 million project for a Sherrard area road that runs from U.S. 67 to 5th Avenue in Sherrard.
