Two target areas for Aledo moving into 2023 involve preliminary work on a proposed aquatics center along with a multi-million-dollar downtown upgrade project centered around Central Park. Mayor Chris Hagloch spoke about both efforts at the end of 2022, starting with the aquatics center project.
The proposed aquatics center will be built at the former Farmers Grain and Coal site.
