Summer workouts continue for local high school sports programs. Coaches can utilize up to 20 contact days this summer compared to the normal 25, but it’s much better than last summer says Mercer County High School cross county coach Peter Nelson.
The first official day of fall high school sports practices is Aug. 9 per the IHSA calendar.
