The Farmers Grain & Coal site will soon be cleared. The Aledo City Council took final action Monday night on a proposal to acquire the property.
Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says among the ideas thrown out for the property include a splash pad.
Also, Monday night Hagloch reported that the city is receiving additional TIF applications.
The city’s TIF District is set to sunset in December. Hagloch was sworn into his third term Monday night.
