The Mercer County School Board has approved relocating grades 5-through-8 effective with the 2022/2023 school year. The vote was 6-1 Wednesday night with the lone no vote from Julie Wagner. WRMJ spoke with Unit 404 superintendent Scott Petrie following the meeting.
Also Wednesday night, Mike Bowns was elected new board president in a 5-2 vote over former board president Julie Wagner.
