District scheduling is set to go into effect in 2021 for high school football, but the Illinois High School Association expects a counter proposal to be offered in the new school year. Districts were narrowly voted in by IHSA membership last school year. The IHSA’s Matt Troha spoke with WRMJ Sports Director Jim Taylor this week.

The district scheduling proposal originated from the IHSA football advisory committee.
