The Mississippi River should fall below flood stage later this week at Lock and Dam 17 in New Boston and also in Keithsburg. It’s been a slow descent says meteorologist Andy Ervin with the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities.
The river has been above flood stage in both locations since March 15th.
