An Illinois City man is facing a Class 1 felony DUI charge. Mercer County State’s Attorney Meeghan Lee says 45 year old William Gorham has four prior DUI’s on his record—including one pending in Muscatine County. He was arrested Tuesday morning in the Reynolds area after an incident involving a firearm. Gorham is also facing a Class 3 felony of possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID card and a Class 4 felony of driving while license revoked. He remains in custody in the Mercer County Jail on $50,000 bond with an attorney status hearing set for today in Mercer County Circuit Court.
