An Aledo woman inducted into the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame. The honor goes to Annette Speer. She was recognized for being leader of the 4-H Handy Helpers and 4-H Teen Federation, secretary for the Mercer County 4-H & Extension Foundation, as well a business owner, busy community volunteer and mother of two 4-Hers (one current and one a recent graduate). Speer received the award August 12th during the Illinois State Fair.
