The two men arrested after police seized more than 13 pounds of drugs from an Aledo house in July have each entered not guilty pleas to all charges in Mercer County Circuit Court.
22-year-old Preston Huston of Aledo and 22-year-old Dequan Huntley of Chicago were arrested in July following an investigation by the Aledo Police Department and Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group (MEG). A press release from the Aledo Police Department said that 119 grams of MDMA testing positive for methamphetamine, 4,697 grams of marijuana, 1,506 grams of THC wax, 63 grams of cocaine, packaging materials, and digital scales were found and seized from the property.
Huston is charged with a Class X felony of possession with intent to deliver 100-400 grams of methamphetamine and a Class 1 felony of possession with intent to deliver 2,000-5,000 grams of cannabis.
Huntley is charged with a Class X felony of possession with intent to deliver 15-100 grams of cocaine and a Class 2 felony of possession with intent to deliver 500-1,000 grams of cannabis.
Both were granted pretrial release with conditions, including GPS monitoring.
Huston has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 15, while Huntley is due back in court on Oct. 20 for a pretrial conference.
