The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 15-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon for first-degree murder in the shooting death of Rockridge High School senior Daniel Taylor.
Taylor, 17, was found inside his Milan home Friday with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 15-year-old’s name was not announced by authorities. He faces charges of first-degree murder and home invasion.
The Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.
