A possible plea in the works for an Aledo man awaiting trial on criminal sexual assault charges. This morning in Mercer County Circuit Court, 20 year old Gunner Terry made his 14th appearance since his arrest last April. Another pre-trial conference has been scheduled for February 27th. Terry faces five Class X felony counts stemming from alleged incidents involving two children under the age of 13. He remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail on $250,000 bond. Class X felonies are punishable by 6-to-30 years in prison upon conviction.
