Entering his junior year at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Nicholas Close is studying Agricultural and Consumer Economics. From Reynolds, he is the son of Greg and Brenda Close, who are members of the Mercer County Farm Bureau. Nicholas was selected for this top honor out 389 applicants, and for his accomplishments, will receive a $5,000 scholarship. He recently spoke with Rita Frazer from the RFD Radio Network.
