William A. “Bill” Westpfahl, 69 of Taylor Ridge, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 10, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 801 W. Edgington Street, Reynolds. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church. Bill was born on January 3, 1956, in Rock Island, to John and Sara (Shanley) Westpfahl. He graduated from Rockridge High School in 1974. Bill worked as a farmhand and helped with showing horses, which he loved. He was a member of the Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church. Bill participated in FFA and 4H in his younger years. He was also a member of the former Reynolds Jaycees. Bill enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his siblings, Cathy (Jim) Bizarri, Robert “Bob” (Patricia) Westpfahl, Mary (Kenny) Baker, and Sue (Steve) Mairet; nieces and nephews, Jay (Amber) Bizarri, Darren Bizarri, Kevin (Monica) Westpfahl, Curt (Brandy) Westpfahl, Paula Tate, Tammy Gorham, Angela (Joe) Edmondson, Sean (Amanda) Mairet, and Josh (Elisha) Mairet; several great nieces and great nephews; cousin, Jim Westpfahl; and dear friend (other brother), Larry Rudsell.
