The Matherville Fire Department ushers in year number 52 of shooting off fireworks leading into the 4th of July. The latest show is Wednesday night says firefighter Adam McNair, who helps promote the event. He says they get great support behind the scenes from volunteers as well as local businesses stepping up to support the longtime tradition.
The rain date is Thursday night.
