A Viola man facing two felony sexual abuse counts will be back in court next week.
32-year-old Gregory Wilson was arrested in September 2024 following an investigation by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. He’s charged with a pair of Class 2 felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Wilson was originally granted pretrial release with home detention last year, but was taken into custody in August 2025 after the prosecution filed a petition to revoke his pretrial release following a pretrial violation report. He’s currently in custody at the Mercer County Jail.
Wilson will return to court on Monday for a pretrial conference.
