The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department reporting two arrests over the weekend. 30-year-old Cody Jeremiah of Viola was taken into custody Sunday on a Mercer County warrant for aggravated battery of a child. Jeremiah later posted bond and was released pending his initial court appearance.
Also on Sunday, Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 54-year-old Traci A. Swift of Aledo on a Mercer County warrant for theft of merchandise. Swift later posted bond and was released pending her initial court appearance.
