As of Monday afternoon, Mercer County has received 13 negative COVID-19 test results and currently awaiting results for 8 persons of interest. There are no positive test results noted for Mercer County.
“Our Communicable Disease Staff monitors all testing outcomes through the IDPH reporting system” states Carla Ewing, Administrator. “We continue to remind everyone to follow all of the guidance from IDPH of social distancing; washing your hands frequently: staying at home especially when sick; increase washing high touch surfaces; coughing and sneezing into a tissue or your elbow.
