The Sherrard Tiger boys golf team went to Oak Run and defeated host Williamsfield 158-171 on Wednesday. Mercer County hosted Fulton and the visiting Steamers came out on top 170 to 192. In girls action, Mercer County beat Alleman at Saukie 210-220. In volleyball, Kewanee defeated Galva 25-12, 25-13, Princeville beat Brimfield 25-16, 25-19 and Erie-Prophetstown beat Morrison 25-14, 26-28, 25-17. On the pitch, Orion-Sherrard handled Abingdon-Avon 7-0. In cross country, Deer Creek-Mackinaw won the boys division of the Prime Beef Run and United took the girls crown.
