Suspect Who Shot & Killed Sherrard Grad At QC Gas Station Has Died From Self Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Bettendorf police have identified a northern Illinois man as the suspect who shot and killed a Sherrard High School grad working at a Quad City convenience store last month. 28 year old Brittany Wilson was gunned down during a robbery at the Big 10 Mart in Bettendorf on August 17. Wilson was Class of 2010 and grew up near Milan. She was most recently residing in Donahue, Iowa. Bettendorf police say the suspect, 21 year old Manuel Rangel of Genoa, has since died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
