A Sherrard High School grad honored by the American Red Cross for his work as a police officer in Hampton, Illinois. Bryce Frenell has received a Life Saving Award from the national office in Washington, D.C. stemming from his response to an emergency call in 2020. He was recognized at the Hampton Village Board meeting Monday night and spoke with WRMJ Tuesday morning.
Frenell has been with the Hampton Police Department for a year-and-a-half.
