Nick Welch has been hired as head football coach at United Township High School. He was named to the position last night, according to an Argus/Dispatch report and will also teach social studies at the Quad Cities school. Welch spent the last two season as offensive coordinator for the Sherrard Tigers. He also teaches social studies at Sherrard High School.
