A March 13 pre-trial conference is set for a Seaton man facing predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and aggravated criminal sexual abuse charges. 49-year-old Mark Hockenberry was scheduled to appear for a bond modification hearing Tuesday in Mercer County Circuit Court, but neither he nor his attorney showed up for the matter, according to court records. Hockenberry is charged with one Class X felony and three Class 2 felonies in connection with allegations in 2020, 2021 and 2022 involving a female youth. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which were filed in late November. Hockenberry is free after posting ten percent $250,000 bond in early December.
