Rockridge’s Hasson To Remain IHSA Board President

Rockridge High School principal Katy Hasson will continue to serve as President of the IHSA Board of Directors. She was elected to the post for a second consecutive school year this week.
Hasson is the 36th individual to serve as IHSA Board President since Aurora High School’s C.P. Briggs first filled the role in 1903. She’s just the second female President of the IHSA Board, following Linda Layne from Fenger High School in Chicago, who held the position from 1994-1996. Hasson was first elected to the IHSA board in 2016.
