Rockridge High School will be turning on the lights on the athletic fields at 8:00 pm on Friday, May 15th to honor its senior class on what is their final day of school as part of the #BeTheLight initiative statewide. The district also joins with the IHSA to honor teachers & coaches who have worked tirelessly during these past two months of remote learning. The school is also expressing gratitude for all of the medical professionals, first responders, and essential workers who have helped the community battle the COVID-19 crisis as Rockridge supports #LightsForTheFight.
The stadium lights will be on from 8:00 to 8:20 pm to recognize this effort. Everyone in the Rockridge Community is encouraged to drive by or drive through the school campus to show support. Please note that this is a DRIVE-THROUGH event ONLY. No one will be permitted to park on the premises, gather in parking lots, or exit their vehicles.
