The Rockridge School District last night announcing that the first day of student attendance on Tuesday has been canceled. The decision due to the growing concerns of COVID-19 surrounding the school community and the inability to staff the schools adequately.
Nathan Faith, the Rockridge Board of Education President, has called a special meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 pm to discuss the possibility of amending the school calendar. This may delay the start of the school year at Rockridge.
The district says a message will be sent out immediately following the Board of Education meeting on Tuesday to inform and update all families in the event the school calendar is amended.
