Aledo officially has a new waste collection service.
A five-year contract between the City of Aledo and Quick’s Dumpster and Disposal started on Friday. The Aledo City Council voted unanimously to terminate its contract with LRS and approve an agreement with Quick’s Dumpster and Disposal during a special city council meeting in February.
Quick’s Dumpster and Disposal Owner Larry Quick, speaking with WRMJ following that meeting, said his company was looking forward to servicing Aledo.
The trash and recycling pick-up days will remain the same in Aledo.
