The Mercer County Relay for Life Radiothon is today on WRMJ!
The 13th annual radiothon is airing from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday and features conversations with local cancer survivors, caregivers, and health care professionals. Donations from the radiothon support local people battling cancer, with the money raised going towards cancer research and providing patient services.
During the radiothon, listeners can call to pledge their donations at 309-582-5666 or donate in person at the WRMJ Studios, located at 129 S. College Ave., Aledo.
Last year, the WRMJ Mercer County Relay for Life Radiothon raised $12,888. Since the inaugural radiothon in 2014, it has raised a total of $76,327.
