A Mercer County farmer is retiring after 10 years of service on the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
Jeff Kirwan of New Windsor started on the IFB Board of Directors in 2015. Kirwan also served seven years on the Illinois Nutrient Research and Education Council (NREC). He reflected on his time on the board at the Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in Chicago over the weekend.
Kirwan spent 13 years as president of the Mercer County Farm Bureau Board.
