The new Edwards River Public Library now open in Aledo. A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held Saturday. The project represents a long road for retiring library director Catherine Worsley.
Worsley is retiring effective Tuesday. The new library director is Courtney Wright. The vacant Mercer Carnegie Library building is owned by Mercer Township.
