In the heart of Aledo, Illinois, Farm Country 102.3 WRMJ and Ferg’s Public House teamed up to celebrate love with the “Show Us Your Sweetie” contest. Listeners were invited to submit photos of their sweethearts for a chance to win. The response was overwhelming, prompting Ferg’s Public House to sweeten the deal by adding a second and third prize, a $25 gift card and a Valentine’s Day Gift Basket, to the contest.
On the morning of February 14th, during the 8 a.m. hour, WRMJ announced the winners live on-air. The grand prize winner, Tony and Pam Myers, received a $50 gift card to Ferg’s Public House.
The runner-up, Collette Sunken was awarded the 2nd place prize of a $25 Ferg’s gift card.
Lois Retherford took 3rd and wins a Valentine’s Day Gift Basket from Ferg’s Public House in Downtown Aledo.
