Mercer County (13-14, 3-4 TRAC West) avenged a loss from earlier in the season to Rockridge (10-16, 2-6 TRAC West) with a 49-36 win at home Thursday.
Rockridge scored the game’s first basket to go ahead 2-0, but that was the Rockets’ only lead of the night. Mercer County held an 18-6 advantage at the end of the first quarter and led by double digits the rest of the game.
Molly Hofmann scored a game-high 21 points for the Golden Eagles.
Keaten Needham netted 11 points for the Rockets in the loss.
