A rural Joy man has been arrested on domestic battery charges. Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Wednesday. As a result of the complaint, Stephen Ellis was taken into custody. He was transported to the Mercer County Jail, where is being held pending a court appearance. Ellis is also being held on an arrest warrant out of Colorado for contempt of court.
