An order of protection violation also leads to methamphetamine charges against an Aledo man. Clay Mitchell was taken into custody yesterday by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies stopped him in New Boston, recognizing him as a wanted person on an outstanding warrant. Mitchell was also charged with possession of meth. He is being held in the Mercer County Jail pending his initial court appearance.
