With a side by side or UTV ordinance now in place for certain Mercer County roads, Sheriff Dusty Terrill says it’s now up to operators to abide by the regulations. That means proper permits and decals and also staying on the specific designated routes. If that doesn’t happen, he says tickets will likely be issued.
The UTV route ordinance was approved by the county board Tuesday night.
