The Mercer County Senior Center seeking assistance from the City of Aledo for a lighting project at the facility. Annette Speer is the secretary/treasurer of the senior center board and she addressed the Aledo City Council this week.
The senior center rents the building from the city for $1. Speer says recently the senior center has put in new air conditioning and furnace along with new flooring. Their next goal is to renovate the facility’s restrooms.
