Mercer County (5-3, 2-0 LTC) won at ROWVA-Williamsfield (3-7, 0-2 LTC) Monday, 66-44.
The Cougars led 15-14 at the end of the first quarter, but the Golden Eagles outscored ROWVA-Williamsfield 28-10 in the second quarter to take a 42-25 lead at halftime.
Molly Hofmann was the game’s leading scorer with 18 points for Mercer County. Sydney Lamkin and Maddie Hofmann each added 15 points for the Golden Eagles.
Sherrard (5-2, 3-0 TRAC West) cruised to a 59-17 win over Orion (2-6, 0-3 TRAC West) Monday.
Adalynn Elsbury scored 16 points to lead the Tigers in the win. Violet Meskan, 12 points, and Grace Bohnert, 10 points, were also in double figures for Sherrard.
