The IHSA released regional brackets for the upcoming girls basketball postseason Friday afternoon.
The 2A Orion Regional consists of Sherrard, Monmouth-Roseville, Mercer County, Rockridge, Orion and Kewanee. The regional quarterfinal matchups are Mercer County hosting Rockridge and Orion traveling to Kewanee on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Mercer County/Rockridge winner will play Sherrard in the semifinal round, while the winner of Kewanee/Orion will take on Monmouth-Roseville in the second semifinal in Orion on Monday, Feb. 17.
The championship game will take place on Thursday, Feb. 20.
