Bond will not be reduced for a Keithsburg man charged with a felony of sexual relations within families. A defense motion filed by 45 year old Kevin Hockenberry was turned down Monday in Mercer County Circuit Court. He wanted his bail reduced from $150,000 to $20,000. The Class 3 felony is in connection with an alleged incident that occurred in April of 2019. He is also facing felony charges in two other cases including perjury and false reporting as well as two misdemeanor counts of violating an order of protection. Hockenberry remains in custody at the Mercer County Jail with a pre-trial conference scheduled for July 27th.
