This year marks the 50th anniversary since the Roosevelt Military Academy closed in Aledo. Gary Weaver from Wyoming, Illinois, is a member of the RMA class of 1969. He spoke with WRMJ this week.

Weaver will make a presentation to the Mercer County Historical Society at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16, at the Essley-Noble Museum.
