Mercer County Sheriff’s Department Deputies assisted Aledo Police when a vehicle failed to stop as directed and fled. The incident happened Tuesday night as deputies eventually pursued the vehicle and later terminated the pursuit near Millersburg. The vehicle was identified as a dark colored Subaru. Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to call Mercer Co Crimestoppers with any additional information at 309-582-3500. Information leading to the arrest of those involved may result in a cash payment. This type of criminal behavior endangers the public and cannot be tolerated. The investigation is ongoing.
