Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time at church. Per Hollie’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial donations may be left for the Hollie Ann Memorial Fund. Hollie was born on March 29, 1969, the second and middle child, of Steve and Carole Doyle. Raised in the Aledo area, she was a proud Aledo Green Dragon graduate. Her adult employment career, using her organizational skills, HR, and PR talents, spanned many businesses across the Quad Cities. From Royal Neighbors to Jumer’s Casino, to various hotels, to Davenport Law Offices. All these opportunities she worked hard and diligently at to provide for and raise on her own, her daughter, Carly.

Hollie Ann married Bryan Jordahl in 2009. They later divorced. She then relocated to Texas to be with her first and last love, Rusty Hager. They then returned to reside in Aledo in 2022 to be closer to family.

Hollie greeted all with a smile and feisty personality. If you knew her you were best friends. She loved to laugh. Hollie had many passions. Her family, competing to be the favorite aunt, her pets and wildlife outside her door, and especially her Booker.

She loved spreading her testimony and the gospel, whenever the opportunity arose and prayer was very important in her life. She also loved Christian music, baking desserts, and bargain hunt shopping for the best deals on everything, from her boots, furniture, and home décor. Hollie’s talents included being able to out-fish anyone and most times drowning a worm by herself for a big bass. She also had an extraordinary ability of being able to play the drums with several bands and praise bands since high school. Hollie’s honest and straight forward love she showed all of us will be greatly missed until we see her again.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carly; Bryan Jordahl; mother, Carole; father and bonus mother, Steve and Penny; brother, Steve, Jr. (Nicole); sisters, Jodi (Cash) and Kassie (Christian); the love of her life, Rusty; nephew, Vaughn; nieces, Justine, Grace, Aliya, and Bonnie; three great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends galore; and Booker.
