‘Heart Hunters’ Movement Starts Local; Goes Global

“Heart Hunters” is trending on social media and it’s a movement that started in Western Illinois. It’s the idea of Krista Wynes of Galesburg and it’s all about spreading good vibes during the COVID-19 pandemic. It involves cutting out and decorating paper hearts and placing them in your window. She spoke with WGIL radio about her cause, which began last Saturday.

As of Tuesday morning, the Facebook group “Heart Hunters” already had over 71,000 members.
